Ryan Abbott’s interest in acupuncture stems from childhood upbringing and early exposure to other cultural traditions. Graduating with one of the highest honors from UCLA, Ryan Abbott earned his Bachelors degree in Integrative Medical Theory and concurrently a Masters degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. He is now in the process of completing an MD and JD Aboutexploreim.UCLA As part of the UCLA Center for East West Medicine’s ongoing effort to bridge the understanding of the integration of western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), it has launched Explore IM: Exploring Integrative Medicine, a web-based portal designed to be a world class interactive resource for integrative medicine.
